I am a huge fan of terracotta/clay flower pots. Actually, what I like most about them is that they are so versatile and I can decorate them with paint any way I want! So it's no surprise that when we received, from dear friends, the very pretty Tatooine (the Impatients New Guinea plant pictured bellow, named after the desert planet in Star Wars) my thoughts went to decorating its pot. So here it is: all decorated with white matte paint, bronze edge and tiny polka dots. It's such an easy project, but it has that rewarding quality of a home made project that everyone loves.
I really like the way it turned out and I'm looking forward for Tatooine to bloom again, with its pretty hot pink flowers - eye candy all the way!
